Calendar of the second round of student selection for ERASMUS+ mobilities in 2026-2027

Dear students,

The foreign language tests for the second Erasmus+ 2026-2027 selection round for students from non-philology programmes will take place online on TEAMS:

  • English - 20.10.2026, 12:00 - Assoc. Prof. PhD Mihaela CULEA
  • French - 20.10.2026, 15:00 - Assoc. Prof. PhD Brîndușa AMĂLĂNCEI

12 October 2026: The ERASMUS coordinators of the faculties publish the offer of study placements for the 2026-2027 academic year, taking into account the places left unfilled after the first selection round in March-April 2026, and checking that the application deadlines at the partner universities have not already passed;

12 – 19 October 2026: Candidates submit their application files online.

THE APPLICATION FILE must contain:

  • Curriculum Vitae in European format (http://www.cveuropean.ro/
  • a cover letter, addressed to the dean of the faculty where the student is enrolled, explaining the candidate's reasons for going on an Erasmus mobility and the chosen partner universities, in order of priority (writing tips: http://www.cveuropean.ro/scrisori-de-intentie.html)
  • a copy of the identity card;
  • a copy of the passport, the Romanian residence permit and the identity document from the country of origin (for students without Romanian citizenship) 
  • academic record (Academic history from UMS; the student uploads online a pdf document with a screenshot and states their full name, faculty, specialisation and year of study).

IMPORTANT: All these documents must be attached (in pdf format) to the electronic Google Forms application form, posted on the faculties' web pages and on the ERASMUS+ Office page  (https://forms.gle/dcwRoy5i2tfAahBZ8)

20 October 2026: The foreign language test takes place online;

21 - 22 October 2026: The faculties' Selection Committees designate the students selected for ERASMUS mobilities, including the order of priority (main candidates, reserves, rejected), and publish the list at faculty level. Any appeals are resolved;

23 October 2026: The selection files and minutes are sent to the Erasmus+ Office

29 October 2026: The Board of Directors approves the centralised list of students selected by the faculty selection committees.
